RosCar Albania is an aggregator platform that enables you to compare and request bookings for car rentals provided by international and local rental companies (“Rental Partners”). These Terms explain how bookings, payments, cancellations, and responsibilities work when using our Website.

1) Definitions

  • Website / Platform: roscar.al and related booking interfaces.
  • RosCar Albania / We / Us: the operator of the Platform.
  • User / You: any person who browses, searches, or makes a booking request on the Platform.
  • Rental Partner: the local or international car rental company that provides the vehicle and rental services.
  • Booking / Reservation: your request to rent a vehicle through the Platform, confirmed subject to Partner acceptance.
  • Voucher: the confirmation document sent by email containing booking details and Partner instructions.

2) Our Role as an Aggregator

RosCar Albania provides a comparison and booking request service. The vehicle rental contract is concluded between you and the Rental Partner that supplies the vehicle. The Rental Partner is responsible for:

  • vehicle condition, delivery, and handover;
  • rental agreement terms at pick-up;
  • insurance coverage offered and claims handling;
  • charges collected at pick-up and/or during the rental, where applicable;
  • customer service related to the rental itself (e.g., roadside assistance, replacements).

We may assist with booking support and communication, but we do not own the vehicles unless explicitly stated.

3) Service Coverage: Airport Pick-up and City/Hotel Delivery

Depending on availability and the selected offer, you can rent a car:

  • At the airport (pick-up and return at airport locations), and/or
  • With delivery within the city or to your hotel (and optional collection from a chosen address).

Delivery/collection availability, fees (if any), and time windows are defined by the selected offer and Rental Partner.

4) Key Offer Features (May Vary by Offer)

4.1 No Deposit / No Credit Card

A major advantage of RosCar Albania is access to offers that may allow:

  • Car rental in Albania without a deposit (or reduced deposit), and
  • Car rental in Albania without a credit card (e.g., debit card or other accepted methods).

These conditions are offer-specific. Always review the offer details shown on the Platform and the Voucher.

4.2 Unlimited Mileage & Free Cancellation

  • Unlimited mileage: available on selected offers, as shown during booking.
  • Free cancellation: available on selected offers, subject to the cancellation rules in Section 8.

If an offer is labeled “unlimited mileage” or “free cancellation,” the applicable conditions will be displayed on the booking page.

5) How to Book a Car

To place a booking request on RosCar Albania, you typically:

  1. Choose pick-up and return details: location(s), date, and time.
  2. Select a vehicle type: (e.g., economy, SUV, automatic).
  3. Select add-ons and options: such as no deposit, no credit card, insurance, or a child car seat.
  4. Enter driver contact details: name, email, phone number and other required fields.
  5. Confirm and pay a booking prepayment: usually 15–20% of the total price (the exact amount is shown at checkout).

After successful payment, we send a Voucher to your email with booking instructions and the Rental Partner’s contact information.

6) Prices, Payments, and What You Pay To Whom

6.1 Price display

Prices shown on the Platform are based on the information provided by Rental Partners. Prices may depend on season, location, car class, rental duration, insurance selection, delivery services, and availability.

6.2 Prepayment

To confirm a booking request, you typically pay an online prepayment of 15–20% of the total price (as shown at checkout). This amount is generally used to secure your reservation.

6.3 Remaining balance and on-site charges

The remaining balance (if any) is usually paid to the Rental Partner at pick-up (or at delivery) using the payment methods accepted by that Partner. Depending on the offer and Partner rules, additional charges may apply, for example:

  • optional extras chosen at pick-up;
  • out-of-hours pick-up/return;
  • delivery/collection fees (if not included);
  • traffic fines, tolls, parking, fuel differences, cleaning fees, damages, or late return fees as defined by the Partner.

No deposit / no credit card: If your offer explicitly states “No Deposit” and/or “No Credit Card,” the Rental Partner should not require a traditional deposit or a credit card for that booking. However, Partners may still require identity verification and may require a payment method for the remaining balance. Always follow the Voucher instructions.

7) Voucher, Pick-up/Delivery, and Rental Partner Requirements

Your Voucher contains essential information about pick-up/delivery, return details, included options, and Partner contacts. You must present the required documents at pick-up/delivery, which typically include:

  • a valid driver’s license held for the minimum period required by the offer/Partner;
  • passport or national ID;
  • the Voucher (digital or printed);
  • payment method required for any remaining balance (as specified by the Partner).

Age limits, license requirements, and documentation rules may vary by Partner and offer. The Partner may refuse handover if requirements are not met.

8) Cancellations, Changes, and No-Show

8.1 Free cancellation

Some offers include free cancellation. If your booking is labeled as such, you may cancel within the time window shown during checkout (and/or in the Voucher) without a cancellation fee.

8.2 Non-refundable or late cancellations

If an offer is non-refundable, or if you cancel outside the free cancellation window, the prepayment may be partially or fully non-refundable, depending on the booking conditions displayed at checkout.

8.3 Changes

Requests to change dates, times, locations, car class, or options are subject to availability and may affect the price. Contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible with your booking reference.

8.4 No-show

If you do not arrive at the scheduled pick-up/delivery time, cannot be reached, or do not provide required documentation, it may be treated as a no-show. In such cases, refunds are typically not available for the prepayment unless the offer rules state otherwise.

9) Unlimited Mileage

If your offer includes unlimited mileage, you may drive without a mileage cap during the rental period. Exceptions may apply (e.g., prohibited routes/areas, off-road use, cross-border rules). Always follow the Rental Partner’s rental agreement and local laws.

10) Insurance and Optional Extras

Insurance options (e.g., basic coverage, extended coverage) and extras (e.g., child car seat) are displayed during booking. The exact coverage terms, exclusions, and claims process are defined by the Rental Partner and/or insurer, and may be confirmed at pick-up. You are responsible for reviewing the coverage details before booking.

11) User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking and driver information.
  • Arrive on time for pick-up/delivery and follow Voucher instructions.
  • Comply with the Rental Partner’s rental agreement and local traffic laws.
  • Use the vehicle responsibly (no illegal use, no reckless driving, no prohibited routes/activities).
  • Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place and in the agreed condition.

12) Liability Disclaimer

While we aim to ensure accurate information, RosCar Albania provides the Platform “as is” and cannot guarantee that every offer is error-free or continuously available. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RosCar Albania is not responsible for the actions or omissions of Rental Partners.
  • Vehicle quality, handover, and service performance are the Rental Partner’s responsibility.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed flights, lost profit) arising from the rental.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13) Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, and design are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without our written permission, except where allowed by law.

14) Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we collect and use personal data.

15) Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes should first be addressed by contacting us at [email protected]. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts as required by law.
